In Australia, where our founder grew up, seasoned French fries—or chips, as they call them Down Under—are a staple. Every chip shop and fast-food chain, whether it’s KFC, Red Rooster, or Burger King, boasts its own unique seasoning blend. But here in Canada, nearly every order of fries is just deep-fried potatoes with plain salt—no flair, no pizzazz.
